Inter Milan in approach to sign Romelu Lukaku
Inter Milan have entered the race to sign Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku on a 70 million euro transfer deal this summer. Lukaku has failed to impress since his arrival at Old Trafford from Premier League rivals Everton and has been told that he is free to leave the club.
Lukaku joined Man Utd in a deal just two years ago in a transfer worth a total of £90 million but has failed to set the league alight in the same way that the Belgian attacker did so at Goodison Park.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has grown increasingly frustrated with the lacklustre forward and is now ready to listen to offers from Inter Milan for the player's services.
Lukaku bagged just 12 goals in 32 games in the Premier League last year as Man Utd finished in a disappointing sixth position.
The agent of Lukaku told Sky: "There is no news, I came to talk to the director to better understand the situation.
"We will see the decisions they will take. We do not decide them: it is clear that if they want to buy the player, they have to move."
