Sporting Lisbon remain open to Bruno Fernandes sale
Sporting Lisbon are reportedly prepared to sanction the sale of Bruno Fernandes in the forthcoming transfer windows, provided the player's suitors are willing to meet their asking price.
The Portugal international was linked with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United this summer but neither of them came up with a realistic offer.
As a result, the 25-year-old has remained in the ranks of Sporting but A Bola claims that the club are open to sanctioning his sale in the future, should they receive an offer in the region of £62.6m.
Fernandes has previously admitted that he would like to pursue a move to the Premier League at some stage in his career, but the midfielder could yet be tempted by a challenge in the Spanish La Liga with Los Blancos interested.
The midfielder had a standout season with Sporting last term where he contributed 32 goals and 18 assists in all competitions. He has started the current campaign in fine fashion with two goals and four assists to date.
