Lindelof out for Partizan clash

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that the club have suffered a fresh injury blow with Victor Lindelof unavailable for tonight's Europa League clash against Partizan Belgrade.

The Sweden international sustained a knock during the League Cup fourth round win over Chelsea last month but he was able to make a swift recovery to face Bournemouth on the road last weekend.

However, it appears that he has yet to completely recover from the minor injury concern and Solskjaer has confirmed that he won't be available for the Partizan game at Old Trafford.

“No, Victor is out, so he won’t be available. Hopefully he can make the weekend but I’m not sure,” he was quoted as saying by MUTV ahead of the Europa League clash.

United have acquired seven points from their opening three Europa League group stage games and they are in a strong position to qualify, provided they don't suffer a major setback.

The Red Devils have been poor in the attacking department with just two goals from three games in the competition and Solskjaer will be hoping for a better display with a win to their secure progress to the next round.
