Man City chase Ivanschitz
Austrian attacking midfielder Andreas Ivanschitz is being linked with a move to Manchester City. The player is owned by Salzburg; and a bid of £5.5 million is being prepared for the international.
The Austrian international is currently on loan in the Greek leagues with Panathinaikos. Ivanschitz is one of Austria's best propsects for the Euro 2008 tournament.
Ivanschitz is also being monitored by Galatasaray and Fulham; but the Cottagers are unlikely to afford a move for the Austrian if they get relegated.
Ivanschitz has never tried his luck in one of the larger leagues and Man City are prepared to give him the opportunity.
