Pogba set for United stay for the season

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba will reportedly not forced through a mid-season exit from Old Trafford and is prepared to wait until the summer to sort out his future.

The Frenchman expressed his desire to take up a new challenge last summer but the Red Devils resisted the prospect of selling him amid interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus.

According to Goal.com, the 26-year-old is still keen on pursuing a move to a new club but he won't push for a departure when the transfer window reopens at the halfway stage of the campaign.

It is added that the Red Devils share the same stance with regards to the future of the World Cup winner and they are prepared to assess his position when the season concludes.

Pogba effectively has two-and-a-half years remaining on his current deal with the Red Devils and reports have claimed that he has no ambition of penning a renewal in the near future.
