Kameni to stay at Espanyol

Carlos Kameni will be staying at his club Espanyol this summer according to his club president Sanchez Libre. Kameni has been the constant subject of a stream of speculation regarding a summer transfer switch to Premiership side Tottenham.

"No offer has come into the club," said Espanyol's club president Sanchez Llibre.

"He has another year of contract, and until December 30 we can renew his deal if it interests the two parties.

"He's told me that he's happy here and he might even like to be here for four more years."
