Real Madrid, Barcelona want young Chelsea star?

Real Madrid and Barcelona are reportedly keeping tabs on the performances of Chelsea youngster Billy Gilmour ahead of the summer transfer window.

Gilmour has barely featured for the first-team this season and he recently stood out during the 2-0 FA Cup win over Liverpool in the fifth round.

This has earned him plenty of plaudits from the club's fans but it appears that the teenager has also caught the eye of elite European sides.

According to El Desmarque, Real Madrid and Barcelona are tracking the displays of the midfielder and could come up with possible bids for his signature this summer.

Gilmour has a contract with the west London side until the summer of 2023 and it is highly unlikely that the Blues will be tempted to sanction his sale at any price.

The trio of Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic and N'Golo Kante are unavailable for the Everton game and Gilmour is expected to make his maiden Premier League start on Sunday.
