Sorloth to Man United?

Manchester United are reportedly said to hold an interest in signing Crystal Palace forward Alexander Sorloth amid his impressive loan stint at Trabzonspor.

The 24-year-old had a forgettable debut season with the Eagles in the Premier League last term and he was unable to find the net from his 11 appearances.

As a result, the Norwegian was loaned out to Trabzonspor on a two-year loan deal last summer and he has proved a huge hit for the Turkish outfit, having registered 25 goals and seven assists from just 39 games in all competitions.

According to Fanatik, Trabzonspor are currently experiencing a financial crisis but they are still expected to trigger the buy option of just £5.35m, which was agreed at the beginning of the season.

The same outlet claims that they could sanction his sale thereafter for a significant transfer fee amid interest from the likes of United, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and AC Milan.

Manchester United are said to be eyeing at least two signings during the next transfer window. A new striker does not appear a priority at the moment but the club's stance could change ahead of next season.
