Manchester United to sign Antoine Griezmann for reduced fee?
Manchester United could reportedly get their chance to sign Antoine Griezmann for a reduced fee from Barcelona during the summer transfer window.
The Frenchman was heavily fancied to join the Red Devils from Atletico Madrid in 2017 but he opted against the move after the Spanish side were imposed with a transfer ban.
Griezmann eventually pursued a new challenge last summer when he made the move to the Camp Nou but he has experienced a tough debut season with just 14 goals from 37 appearances.
According to Transfer Window Podcast, the Blaugrana may consider the forward's sale after just one season, given they need to accumulate funds for the transfer of Neymar.
The same publication cites that Griezmann could be available for a reduced fee and that could tempt the Red Devils to revive their interest in the France international.
Griezmann was signed by the Blaugrana for £108m last summer but Sky Sports claims that he could be available for around £88m when the transfer window reopens.
