Liverpool in the running to sign Norway striker?
Liverpool have reportedly joined Real Madrid in the race to sign Alexander Sorloth, who has impressed for Trabzonspor during the ongoing campaign.
The Norway international struggled to make a mark with Crystal Palace following his move from FC Midtjylland in January 2018 and he was loaned out to Genk during the backend of the previous campaign.
Sorloth has since made the switch to Trabzonspor on a two-year loan and he has been hugely successful for the Turkish club with 25 goals and seven assists from 39 appearances.
His progress has already caught the eye of Real Madrid and Fanatik claims that Liverpool are set to join the pursuit of the marksman during this summer's transfer window.
Sorloth presently has more than two years remaining on his contract with the Eagles but Trabzonspor hold the advantage as they have the option to buy him at the end of the season.
The Super Lig outfit are currently in a financial crisis but they could still seek to trigger the £5.3m buy clause such that they can sell him off immediately for a significant price.
