Man United won't loan out Daniel James next term

Manchester United have no plans of loaning out Daniel James for the 2020/21 season, a report from The Manchester Evening News claims.

The Wales international joined the Red Devils from Swansea City last summer and he has been a valuable performer with three goals and six assists from 27 league games.

A recent report claimed that James could be rewarded with a new and improved contract for his progress but he could be loaned out, suppose United successfully sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

However, according to M.E.N, that possibility has been ruled out and it is emphasised that James will remain part of the first-team squad for the next campaign.

James is likely to see his playing time reduced with the potential arrival of Sancho but it is reported that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer values the forward's presence in the squad.

Manchester United will resume their season after the coronavirus shutdown with an away trip to Tottenham Hotspur on June 19. They are currently three points adrift of the top four.
