Angel Gomes set to pursue overseas challenge?
Former Manchester United youngster Angel Gomes could reportedly pursue a fresh challenge in a foreign league after becoming a free agent.
The 19-year-old recently decided against signing a new deal with United beyond June 30 after managing just six appearances for the club this term.
As a result, the teenager has been released by the club and he is now expected to be the subject of interest from several teams across Europe.
According to M.E.N, the playmaker has a number of offers from Premier League sides, but he is likely to turn down the interest to join a foreign club.
It is added that teams from Spain, Germany, France and Portugal are keen on his services and Gomes will take his time to make a decision over his next challenge.
Gomes was heavily tipped to join Premier League rivals Chelsea earlier this year but manager Frank Lampard recently dismissed the speculation in a press conference.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are understood to be monitoring his situation, but neither of them may guarantee him regular playing time next season.
