Bruce eyes Bent stay

Wigan boss Steve Bruce is hoping that Marcus Bent stays at the club for the forseeable future. Bent has been in good form this season, helping Wigan to stay in the Premiership; and Bruce is keen to tie Bent to a longer deal.
"It's something we have in place, something triggered to us staying in the Premier League," said Bruce.
"We have had preliminary talks with him and his agent, and the one thing we are looking at if we stay up is that this summer we will have another conversation."
Bent has already tempted Everton and Sunderland into a summer offer.
