Dutch midfielder on his way to Manchester United?
Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek has reportedly told his teammates that he wants to join Manchester United during the current transfer window.
The Netherlands international has been linked with an exit over the 14 months and it appears that he may eventually pursue a fresh challenge.
Van de Beek recently missed Ajax's friendlies against Eintracht Frankfurt and Union Berlin and Sport claims that he has now decided his next destination.
It is added that he will be heading to the Premier League with the Red Devils in the near future after the personal intervention of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 23-year-old has already conveyed his desire to join the Mancunian giants to his Ajax teammates and a transfer could be completed following the international break.
Van de Beek has been closely monitored by United over the past few months and he could cost around £40m from Ajax. His arrival may end the club's interest in Aston Villa's Jack Grealish.
