Chelsea midfielder dreaming of Real Madrid transfer

According to Le Parisien, Kante's relationship with Lampard has supposedly become strained in recent weeks and that could pave the way for his exit.

Kante had recently wanted to miss training to attend his friend's wedding, but the request was denied by the Blues head coach.

The midfielder was very disappointed with the decision and it is now reported that he could push for a dream move to the Bernabeu.

Los Blancos made no high-profile signings last summer, but they are expected to pursue a new defensive midfielder at the end of this season.

Rennes teenager Eduardo Camavinga remains their top target, but they could be tempted by the availability of Kante next summer.
