West Ham United confident of signing Algerian winger
West Ham United are confident of landing the signature of Said Benrahma from Brentford before Friday's transfer deadline, Standard Sport reports.
Earlier last week, the Hammers agreed on a £30m package with the Bees for the Algeria international with around £17m being paid upfront.
However, a deal has recently hit a snag with Benrahma demanding a loyalty bonus from the Bees as he did not request a transfer.
According to Standard Sport, the Hammers are still confident of signing Benrahma and believe the differences will be sorted before the deadline.
The east London outfit have not signed any attacker this summer. They have landed only two players in right-back Vladimir Coufal and centre-back Craig Dawson.
Dawson recently joined them on a season-long loan from Watford. He was signed after the Hammers failed in their bids to sign James Tarkowski and Wesley Fofana.
David Moyes' side have picked up six points from the opening four games of the new Premier League campaign. They have a tough schedule ahead with Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Liverpool to face.
