Edouard Mendy ousts Kepa

His transfer to the club wasn't much talked about, but with two clean sheets from three matches and only a goal conceded, Mendy looks unbeatable in post and seems untouchable at the moment.

If Mendy should put in performances as he's done in all the games he's played, then Kepa should be worried about reclaiming the no.1 spot and judging from their performances so far on the pitch, Mendy seems a better and safer option in post as compared to Kepa. With Lampard admitting and confirming Mendy as the club's no.1 goal keeper during a post match interview after the game against Sevilla, Kepa wouldnt mind going on loan, with the intent of making the Spain's final 23 man squad for the upcoming Euros.
