Camavinga wanted by Manchester United?

Manchester United could make a serious attempt to sign Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga next summer, suppose Paul Pogba heads through the exit door.

Camavinga has already established himself with Rennes at the tender age of 18 and it is widely known that Real Madrid are interested in signing him.

Elsewhere, Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping tabs on his situation and Marca claims that the duo could face competition from the Red Devils.

United are currently unsure over the future of Pogba whose contract expires in June 2022 and the Frenchman could move on next summer.

In such a case, they are expected to pursue another midfielder and it is claimed that Camavinga has been earmarked as their preferred target.

The teenager won't come on the cheap, however, with Rennes expected to demand at least £62m during next summer's transfer window.

He was fancied to join Real Madrid this summer, but Rennes were quite clear that the midfielder would stay with them for another season.
