Mikel Arteta given three EPL games to save his Arsenal job
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been given three Premier League games in order to turn the club's fortunes around and avoid the sack.
The north London giants started the season brightly with back-to-back wins, but they have since struggled in the Premier League.
A run of just two victories from the next nine matches sees them languishing in the 15th spot with just 13 points on the board.
Their recent form has been dreadful with three defeats and one draw and they have lacked the cutting edge in the attack front.
According to Calciomercato, the Spaniard has three top-flight games to improve the club's results or else he will be sacked from the head coach role.
It is added that technical director Edu Gaspar has already lined up possible targets and Massimiliano Allegri is one of the top names on the radar.
Allegri won five Serie A titles with Juventus between 2014 and 2019. He has been out of work since leaving the Bianconeri post last year.
