Ecuadorian teenager Moises Caicedo has set his sights on joining Manchester United when the transfer window reopens.

The 19-year-old has been in good form for Independiente del Valle this term and he has contributed six goals and two assists in all competitions.

His progress has caught the eye of the likes of AC Milan and RB Leipzig, but Fabrizio Romano claims that United are leading the player's pursuit.

The Red Devils have kept a close eye on the teenager's progress and it is claimed that a fee of around £4.5m would be sufficient to land him.

Caicedo made his senior debut for his country earlier in October. He has made an instant impact with one goal and three assists from four caps.

He stands the chance of earning more playing time at RB Leipzig, but appears keen on realising his dream of featuring for the Mancunian giants.

Meanwhile, United are expected to sign teenage sensation Amad Diallo from Atalanta next month after he received his passport and work permit.
