Borussia Dortmund want £150m for Chelsea and Manchester United target

Haaland could cost £150m this summer

Borussia Dortmund are set to demand a staggering fee of around £150m to part ways with Erling Braut Haaland during the summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old is regarded as one of Europe's finest young strikers and he has bagged 27 goals and seven assists from only 25 games this term.

Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid have all been credited with an interest in Haaland and the Blues are deemed as favourites to sign him.

Haaland's current contract has a £68m release clause which becomes active in June 2022 and it was recently suggested that Dortmund could sell him this summer for a higher price of £100m.

However, according to The Star, the Bundesliga outfit are prepared to demand much more and may not settle for anything less than £150m for Haaland amid the fierce competition for his services.

Dortmund are presently six points behind the Champions League places in Bundesliga and the failure to make the top four could force them into a flash sale to balance their books.

The likes of Jadon Sancho, Giovanni Reyna and Raphael Guerreiro may head for the exit door ahead of Haaland whom Dortmund are reluctant to sell unless their price tag is met.
