Manchester United ready to offer three players in exchange for Declan Rice

Rice wanted by Manchester United

Manchester United are reportedly planning an ambitious part-exchange deal for West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice.

Rice was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea last summer but a move appears unlikely with dismissal of manager Frank Lampard.

According to 90min, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains a fond admirer of Rice and he is eager to bring him to Old Trafford this summer.

It is added that United could include Jesse Lingard, Nemanja Matic and Phil Jones as makeweights alongside £20m to sign him.

Lingard has been a huge hit since his loan move to the London Stadium last month and has bagged three goals and one assist in just four games.

The Hammers will make an attempt to sign him permanently in the summer and it remains to be seen whether they are tempted by United's proposal.

David Moyes' have experienced a superb season and they are presently lying in the fourth spot with a two-point lead over Chelsea.
