Manchester United's hierarchy are worried that Dean Henderson may push for a fresh challenge away from the club this summer.

Henderson impressed in the past two seasons on loan with Sheffield United where he put up several standout displays in goal.

He was hence promoted by United as the deputy goalkeeper behind David de Gea but he is far from pleased over his situation.

According to The Athletic, some key figures behind the scenes believe Henderson is frustrated with his reduced game time.

It is added that it is only a matter of time before the shot-stopper voices his concern and pushes for a permanent exit from Old Trafford.

Henderson signed a new five-year deal last year with the promise that he would feature regularly in the Premier League.

So far, he has managed only two starts this term and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to depend on De Gea between the sticks.

Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund are keeping tabs on the situation.
