Liverpool will look to offload Xherdan Shaqiri when the transfer window reopens in less than four months' time.

The Switzerland international has made 17 appearances for the Reds this term, but the majority of those have come off the substitutes' bench.

For most of the time, his performances have been below-par and Football Insider claims that the Reds will attempt to sell him this summer.

Shaqiri was purchased from Stoke City for £13m three years ago and the Reds are looking to make a profit of around £10m.

He will still have two years remaining on his contract this summer, but it is unclear whether any side will meet the transfer fee.

The financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic has reduced the transfer valuations and the Reds may need to lower their asking price.

Shaqiri has bagged eight goals and nine assists from 58 appearances in all competitions for the club, who are currently fifth on the league table.
