Napoli want to sign Liverpool defender
Napoli are reportedly weighing up a move for Liverpool defender Kostas Tsimikas ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old joined the Reds from Olympiacos in August 2020, but he has made just six appearances in all competitions.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli were eager to sign the left-back last year and they may revive their interest in his services.
It is added that Tsimikas still appeals the Naples outfit despite his struggles with the English champions this season.
His contract with the Reds does not expire until June 2025, but he could be made available for a transfer this summer.
Aside from Tsimikas, the Merseyside giants could part ways with Divock Origi and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at the end of the season.
The duo have barely impressed over the course of the campaign and the club will look to offload them to recoup funds for new signings.
The Reds will return to Premier League action against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium after the international break.
