Bailly heading for Man United exit?

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly is reluctant to put pen-to-paper on a new contract, according to Sky Sports.

The centre-back's current deal expires at the end of next season and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently confirmed that negotiations are underway.

However, it is now reported that the defender has changed his stance after being snubbed for the Europa League trip to AC Milan.

The 26-year-old believes signing a new contract won't improve his game time and United are offering an extension to increase his transfer value.

Bailly has played second fiddle to Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire this term and he has only started in the league when the former has been rested.

The club are planning to sign another centre-back this summer and that could further dent Bailly's playing time under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

He reportedly feels disrespected by the head coach and could head for the exit door when the transfer window reopens this summer.

Bailly has made exactly 100 appearances for United to date.
