Chelsea handed double fitness boost for Champions League final
Chelsea have been handed a double fitness boost with N'Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy included in the Champions League final squad.
Kante has been sidelined for the past few games with a hamstring injury, but he returned to training earlier in the week.
Meanwhile, Mendy suffered a rib injury during the final Premier League game of the season against Aston Villa last week.
He has likewise returned to training, and both players could be involved in the Champions League final against Manchester City.
The Blues have beaten the Cityzens twice in as many months, but they are still deemed underdogs for the final in Lisbon.
The west London club have been disappointing recently with just one win from the last four games in all competitions.
They need to step up with a strong performance to beat City, and win the Champions League for the second time in their history.
Thomas Tuchel has a fully-fit squad at his disposal for the final.
