Sancho set for Manchester United move

Manchester United are growing confident of signing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund this summer, The Athletic claims.

The Red Devils were heavily linked with the England international last year, but they refused to meet the £110m valuation.

They are planning a renewed approach this summer, and it is reported that a fee of around £80m could be sufficient to do business.

According to The Athletic, Dortmund are willing to compromise for Sancho, who has just two years left on his contract.

They are willing to accept an initial £80m for the attacker, with an additional £20m in the form of achievable add-ons.

Sancho had a superb 2020/21 campaign for the Bundesliga giants, registering 16 goals and 20 assists from 38 games.

He spent more than 10 matches on the sidelines, but made up with a strong end to the campaign, helping them win the DFB-Pokal Cup.

United are keen on landing his signature before the Euros, but that appears unlikely with the short proximity before the tournament start.
