Chelsea to swoop for French defender?

Chelsea could reportedly make an attempt to sign Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara this summer.
The 21-year-old has spent his entire career with Les Phoceens, registering 122 appearances across all competitions.
He has been linked with a possible exit over the past year, and it is claimed that Marseille could sell him to balance their books.
The Blues are alert over the developments, and consider the Frenchman as a potential alternative to West Ham United's Declan Rice.
Kamara, who can also play in central defence, could be available for around £20m. Rice, on the other hand, is valued at £100m.
Newcastle United have also been linked with the versatile player, but they could struggle to convince him to join them.
They are also working on a restricted budget of just £10m. The club are unlikely to afford to pay the fee up front for Kamara.
Kamara is currently in the final year of his contract with Marseille. He has declined the opportunity to extend his stay.
