United not keen on signing Harry Kane this summer

Manchester United are not expected to make an approach for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane this summer.

The England international is keen to leave the north London outfit this summer in the quest to win regular trophies.

A recent report from Football Insider claimed that Spurs are open to selling Kane for £100m and the exchange of two players.

However, it appears that United are unlikely to enter the race as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is content with his options.

The Mancunian giants recently made a huge outlay to land long-term target Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

Mason Greenwood was regularly playing on the right wing last term, but he could see more game time up front next season.

The club also have Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial as centre-forward options, and they are not keen on another striker.

United still hold a long-term interest in Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland, and they could push to sign him in 12 months' time.

Dortmund are expected to keep Haaland for the forthcoming campaign after parting company with Sancho to ease their financial issues.
