Chelsea to make €130m bid for Belgian marksman?

Chelsea could reportedly make a mammoth €130m bid to sign Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku this summer.

The Belgian netted 34 goals during the previous campaign for the Nerazzurri. He helped them win the Serie A title after 11 years.

He has insisted that he is happy to stay with the San Siro outfit, but that has not stopped the speculation regarding his future.

According to Corriere della Serra, the Blues could make a British-record bid of €130m to lure the Belgian back to the club.

Inter have regularly stated that Lukaku is not for sale, but the big-money offer could test their resolve amid their financial issues.

Lukaku was previously with the Blues for three seasons between 2011 and 2014, but spent two of those campaigns out on loan.

He made the permanent switch to Everton in 2014 after a successful loan stint. The Blues attempted to re-sign him three years later.

He instead chose to join Manchester United where he spent two seasons before moving to the Serie A with the Nerazzurri.
