Chelsea want to sign Belgian star as soon as possible

Chelsea are determined to sign Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku at the earliest possibility, Fabrizio Romano claims.
The Belgian has been identified as the prime striker target for the Blues, and they are currently in negotiations with Inter.
Their opening bid of £100m plus Marcos Alonso has been rejected. Inter reportedly prefer a straight cash agreement.
As per Romano, the Blues will need offer more cash for Lukaku, but there is the optimism that a deal can be finalised.
Lukaku wants to rejoin the Blues. It is claimed that the London giants want to seal an agreement as soon as possible.
Ideally, they would like the striker to lead the line for them in their first Premier League game of the 2021/22 season.
The Blues start their league campaign against Crystal Palace at home before travelling to Arsenal in the second matchday.
Lukaku has already agreed personal terms over a five-year contract. He could earn around £250,000-a-week at the club.
