Arsenal winger ready to terminate contract without compensation
Arsenal winger Willian is prepared to terminate his contract with the club without any compensation package.
The Brazil international has two years remaining on his deal, but he is ready to pursue a fresh challenge at Corinthians.
According to The Mail, the forward has acknowledged that his time at the Gunners has been far from impressive.
He is set to mutually terminate his deal. In a nice gesture, the 33-year-old is prepared to forgo his remaining wages.
The decision will reportedly save the Gunners around £20m. Willian is due to join Corinthians in the coming days.
The north London club have made a horrendous start to the new campaign, and they are rockbottom in the standings.
It constitutes their worst start to a top-flight season in 67 years. After three games in, they are yet to find the back of the net.
The Gunners could make a couple of late signings this month. It is well known that they are eyeing a new right-back.
