Pienaar joins Everton

Steven Pienaar has agreed a permanent move from Borussia Dortmund to Everton today, according to reports. The player has impressed since joining on loan last season.

Arsenal, Newcastle and Valencia had been linked with a move for the South African midfielder in recent weeks, but it seems as if Pienaar has decided Goodison Park is the best place for him to stay at the moment.

It is believed that Everton have paid around £2 million to secure the signing of the South African permanently.
