Real Madrid keen on signing Manchester United star

Real Madrid have revived their interest in signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, according to Sport.

The Frenchman's current deal with the Red Devils concludes in June, and the club have yet to convince him to extend his stay.

He can sign a pre-contract with an overseas club in January, but reports claim that he could also be sold in the next transfer window.

The Red Devils purchased him for around £89m from Juventus in 2019. They may look to recoup some funds rather than lose him for free.

Pogba has a long dream of playing for the Madrid giants. He has publicly admitted in the past that he could consider the option.

The 28-year-old has stayed quiet regarding his United future in recent weeks which may suggest that he may move on soon.

Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have also been linked with the midfielder, though they prefer to sign him on a pre-contract.

Madrid could edge ahead of them if they can seal a mid-season transfer. 

The World Cup winner has been in fantastic form this term. He has bagged seven assists from as many Premier League games.
