Manchester United to open talks with Jules Kounde?
Manchester United could reportedly open negotiations with Jules Kounde, who was on Chelsea's radar during the summer transfer window.
The France international was heavily linked with the Blues over the summer, but they failed to meet Sevilla's price tag of €65 million.
It is now reported that they have cooled their interest. Catalan outlet El Nacional claims that United are new candidates to sign the centre-back.
Kounde would also be interested in the move, and he has reportedly urged his agent to open discussions with the Mancunian giants.
The Red Devils signed Raphael Varane to partner Harry Maguire this term, but the latter's form has been worrying in recent months.
He has been susceptible to several defensive errors, and there are suggestions that the club may look to replace him with a new signing.
Kounde was initially on Tottenham Hotspur's radar over the summer, but he turned them down due to their lack of Champions League football.
