Van de Beek set for January exit?

Manchester United are prepared to part ways with Donny van de Beek when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.

The Dutchman joined the club from Ajax at the beginning of last season, but he has since played just over 500 minutes of league football.

He has made just one substitute appearance in the league this term, and has been widely touted to leave the club in January.

According to Fabrizio Romano, there are huge chances that the 24-year-old could head for the exit door in the next transfer window.

A return to Ajax is not a possibility, but he could stay in the Premier League with the apparent transfer interest from Everton.

The Merseyside outfit tried to sign him on loan over the summer, but United were reluctant to sanction a deal before deadline day.

Van de Beek's situation has not changed since then. He continues to be out-of-favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and looks set to leave.
