Michael Carrick confirms double injury concern ahead of Chelsea clash

Manchester United's caretaker manager Michael Carrick has revealed that Fred and Luke Shaw are doubtful to face Chelsea this weekend.
Shaw was substituted due to concussion against Watford last week and he subsequently missed the midweek trip to Villarreal.
It was anticipated that he would return for Sunday's game, but Carrick has revealed that the left-back remains doubtful for the encounter.
Meanwhile, Fred twisted his ankle during the 2-0 win in midweek, and he is a big doubt to face the Blues at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
The Red Devils are currently 12 points behind the Blues for the top spot on the table. In terms of the top four, they are lagging by six points.
Hence, this weekend's game is a potential must-win for them or they could be playing catch up for the Champions League places for some time.
They have an excellent recent league record against the Blues with seven matches unbeaten, but they go into Sunday's game as underdogs.
