Bruno Fernandes responds to Barcelona transfer speculation
Manchester United attacker Bruno Fernandes has dismissed the ongoing speculation linking him with a move to Barcelona.
The Portugal international has had a difficult third season with the Red Devils, but he has still managed 14 goal contributions.
It was recently claimed by El Nacional that he is unhappy with the dressing room atmosphere at United, and could push for an exit.
It was added that his representative Jorge Mendes had offered his services to Barcelona, who could be interested in a summer deal.
Fernandes has now dismissed the story via his Instagram account by joking that April Fools' Day may have come early this year.
He wrote: "And I thought we had changed the year a few days ago and after all we are already on April 1st. Or is it once again just bad journalism?"
Fernandes started the season with a hat-trick against Leeds United, but he has netted just two more goals from his next 23 games.
