Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani will pursue a move to the Spanish La Liga when his contract expires in June.

The Uruguayan has experienced an injury-plagued second season with the Red Devils with just 15 appearances to date.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Cavani has plans to continue in Europe following the expiry of his Red Devils deal.

He has been offered a contract by Corinthians and Boca Juniors, but he dreams of playing in the Spanish top-flight.

Barcelona were interested in signing him in January, but the Red Devils were clear that Cavani was unlikely to be released.

The 35-year-old was also happy to see out his contract. He is already said to be attracting interest from Spanish teams.

Sevilla, Real Betis and Valencia are among clubs that could propose to sign him on a Bosman transfer during the summer.

Cavani has not played since the winter break with a groin injury, but he could return for Sunday's Manchester derby.
