Dembele on Manchester United's radar

Manchester United will reportedly monitor Lyon striker Moussa Dembele during Thursday's Europa League clash against Porto.

The Frenchman has struggled with injuries this term, but has still impressed with 10 goals and three assists from 23 games.

United had their scouts in attendance for Lyon's visit of Porto last week, and they are once again expected in the stands tomorrow.

According to Foot Mercato, Dembele appears the prime focus of attention with the Red Devils eyeing a new striker this summer.

Edinson Cavani is expected to leave when his contract expires in June. Dembele is one of the players on the Red Devils' radar.

Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in the Frenchman, who came close to joining Tottenham Hotspur few years ago.

Dembele was valued in upwards of £40m last summer, but his price should come down with his contract expiring in June 2023.

Lyon are expected to cash in on his services in the next transfer window unless the Frenchman puts pen-to-paper on a new deal.
