Mohamed Salah makes La Liga transfer decision
Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah has no plans of heading to the Spanish top-flight this summer, reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano claims.
The Egypt international has less than 16 months left on his contract, and he has yet to be convinced over a new long-term deal.
Talks have been ongoing with him, but there has been no resolution with the club far away from meeting his contract demands.
Liverpool are willing to offer a small rise on his £200,000-a-week wages, but Salah is holding out for a 100 per cent pay hike.
The Merseyside giants are reluctant to break their wage structure for him, but there remains optimism over a possible renewal.
Amidst the uncertainty, Real Madrid and Barcelona have both been linked with Salah, but he has no intention of moving to La Liga.
Salah is still hopeful over a new Reds contract. Otherwise, he could be tempted to join a Premier League rival this summer or the next.
