Man Utd, Liverpool quoted fee for Christopher Nkunku
Manchester United and Liverpool will need to pay around £63 million to sign Leipzig playmaker Christopher Nkunku this summer.
The France international has been in exceptional form this campaign, bagging 26 goals and 15 assists across all competitions.
His progress has caught the eye of Europe's elite clubs. According to ESPN, United and Liverpool are among those interested.
Leipzig are not actively planning to offload Nkunku, but their hands could be tied if they receive a significant transfer package.
The Bundesliga outfit are likely to sanction his departure if they receive a bid in the region of £63m in the next transfer window.
Nkunku will enter the final two years of his Leipzig contract this summer. He apparently has no plans of penning a renewal.
Aside from United and Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with the Frenchman, who started his career with them.
The 24-year-old struggled for regular minutes after graduating through the youth ranks. He made the move to Leipzig in 2019.
