Nottingham Forest want Man Utd graduate
Nottingham Forest are in talks with Manchester United over a loan deal for Dean Henderson, reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano reports.
The 25-year-old is expected to leave the Red Devils this summer, with new manager Erik ten Hag set to continue with David de Gea as the first-choice goalkeeper.
Newcastle United have been strongly linked with his services in the past few months, but it has recently emerged that they have decided to look elsewhere.
Amidst this, Romano reports that newly-promoted Forest have made a loan offer for Henderson with the option to buy next summer of around £20 million.
Henderson is also open to joining Steve Cooper's side this summer, but the main question is whether United will sanction his departure.
The club want to find a suitable replacement first. They have been linked with Newcastle United's Karl Darlow over the past few days.
There is also the possibility that Tom Heaton could be the deputy keeper to De Gea if the club can't find a proper successor for Henderson.
