Man Utd midfielder wanted by Leicester City

Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has emerged as a transfer option for Leicester City.

The Foxes are currently unsure over the future of Youri Tielemans whose contract expires next summer.

The Belgian has shown no signs of penning a renewal, and he could be sold for a cut-price fee in January 2023.

In that case, the Foxes will want a suitable replacement and Jeunes Footeux claims that Van de Beek is on their radar.

Van de Beek has played in his shadows since his move to Old Trafford from Ajax Amsterdam in the summer of 2020.

He has hardly featured in the Premier League for the Red Devils. His situation has not improved under Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag knows him well from their time together at Ajax, but the Dutch tactician has handed him just 19 minutes so far.

Amidst this, it is claimed that the Foxes will attempt to land him on an initial loan with a £13m buy option for next summer.
