Chelsea and Liverpool want to sign USA midfielder

Chelsea and Liverpool have entered the race to sign Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah during the January transfer window.
Musah started his youth career in the Arsenal academy and made the move to the Spanish top-flight in the summer of 2019.
He has made 81 appearances for Valencia over the past three years but could now pursue a bigger challenge elsewhere.
According to Calciomercato, Musah could be lured back to England this winter with Chelsea and Liverpool interested.
The midfielder currently has a £86m release clause in his contract, but Valencia would be open to selling him for £40m.
Aside from the Premier League duo, Inter Milan have also been linked but the Nerazzurri are unlikely to meet the asking price.
The Serie A giants need to balance their books for next summer and their spending could be limited at the start of the year.
Musah was a key player for the United States at the World Cup. The nation were eliminated by Netherlands in the round of 16.
