Chelsea told price to sign Rafael Leao in January
Chelsea will reportedly need to pay €100 million to sign AC Milan forward Rafael Leao next month.
The Blues were hot on the trail of the Portuguese star last summer, but the Rossoneri refused to do business before the deadline.
However, the Serie A giants are ready to re-assess their situation in January, considering Leao will enter the last 18 months of his deal.
They turned down a proposal of around €70m from Chelsea last summer, but are now prepared to sanction his departure for €100m.
The London giants will be backed with funds from owner Todd Boehly and it remains to be seen whether they can persuade Leao.
The 23-year-old will want the guarantee of a regular starting role if he were to move to Stamford Bridge at the turn of the year.
Manchester United have also been linked with the former Lille man, though they have yet to make any kind of contact with Milan or his agent.
