Arsenal revive interest in Barcelona star Raphinha
Arsenal have turned their attention to Barcelona star Raphinha after missing out on Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Mudryk was the priority target for the north Londoners, but they were beaten to his services by London rivals Chelsea.
The Blues hijacked the transfer yesterday by agreeing to meet Shakhtar's €100 million valuation for the player.
It is now reported by Sport Italia that the Gunners have turned their focus to Raphinha, who was on their radar last summer.
Arsenal enquired over the availability of the Brazilian back in June, but his agent Deco made it clear that he wanted Barca.
Raphinha has since experienced a mixed run of performances at Camp Nou and there are suggestions that he could leave them.
Barcelona are not looking to sell him at the moment, but could be willing to part ways for a significant transfer bid of around €80 million.
The 26-year-old has amassed three goals and five assists for them this term. He has struggled in the Spanish top-flight so far.
