Arsenal want to sign Marcus Thuram on a free transfer
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram on a free transfer.
The Frenchman was linked with a mid-season transfer from the Bundesliga outfit, but he decided to stay put.
He will now leave them when his contract expires in June and it is reported that Arsenal are keen on landing him.
Aside from the Gunners, there is also interest from Liverpool and Spurs.
However, Thuram is likely to reject the Premier League duo unless they qualify for the Champions League.
Thuram was in superb form for the German outfit before the World Cup, bagging 13 goals and four assists.
He has yet to find the back of the net after the season restart, but continues to remain in demand across Europe.
Thuram is expected to assess his options in the coming months before deciding whom to join this summer.
The World Cup finalist is reportedly eyeing wages of around €150,000-a-week at the next club he will sign for.
