Lazio midfielder interested in Arsenal transfer?

Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is reportedly keen on joining Arsenal during the summer transfer window.

The Serbian was on the radar of the Gunners last summer, but he turned them down due to the lack of Champions League football.

The north London giants have since been fantastic in the Premier League and they are currently in pole position to finish in the top four.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the 27-year-old has his sights on leaving the Serie A outfit this summer. The Gunners are now his preferred destination.

His current contract only expires in June 2024, but Milinkovic-Savic wants to leave earlier such that Lazio can recoup a reasonable fee.

Milinkovic-Savic has been a fantastic performer for the Rome side. He has bagged six goals and eight assists during the current season.

He is ready to pursue a bigger challenge in the summer and it appears Arsenal could be favourites to sign him due to their concrete interest.

Milinkovic-Savic could be sold for around £50 million.
